Delivered on time and looks better in person. Only noticeable thing is the contrast from black to colours (i. Stand up comedy with black background) you notice it slightly. Suprinsingly decent sound as well.
Looks good on the bedroom wall easy tuning to get lots of channels, pickture outstanding.
Image great after a tweak or 2.
Extremely nice tv for a very reasonable price. All the apps work but there are the occasional freezes. I turn the tv off and on again and all starts working again.
- although our trusty Samsung 50″ plasma was rocking along fine, it had two distinct “issues” if you could
- Extremely nice TV for a very reasonable price
- Fills the void between 40 and 50 inche.

You can’t really beat hisense for the price. The first one came with a a damaged screen. Amazon as always leapt into action and had a new one out the next day to replace it.
Not to be expected with something so thin. Definitely requires a separate audio output, such as sound bar and sub woofer with arc, for simple integration.
Great product, has everything i need and didn’t break the bank.
Has everything you could need for now and the future. I would say it looks better in game mode and the sound is pretty good too. All in all rather impressed it looks rather good with a quality finish to it. Only down side is sometimes blacks/whites can be grainy but i think this is more to do with the limitations of the source.
I think this is a great tv, particularly at the price i paid of £449. The screen is clear and bright. I’ve connected games consoles, blu-ray player, and my pc in addition to free-view and sky and they all look grand. Some sources do look grainy as another reviewer has mentioned but these are artifacts in the source (netflix, prime etc) not the tv. :-)the built in apps are fine. I’ve been using netflix, prime and google videos through youtube. Various catch-up tv providers are also available. I’ve attached a hard disk so i can use the built in planner to record freeview tv. It also uses the hd to allow the pausing of live tv. I do wish it had a 4th hdmi socket and also a scart socket for some of my older devices, but i suppose you can’t have it all.
Really impressed with this item as was reluctant to buy due to not knowing the make, seems to get great reviews and was sold out in a lot of places i looked, picture and sound both decent and looks good on the wall.
Fast responsive ui and fast loading apps like youtube/netflix that stay in background, amazing picture quality. Bought 50″ one for my mom as well.
Fantastic value, upgraded my samsung hd tv this outshines in almost every way. Only downside if you watch from a very acute angle picture can look washed out.
We have recently had our lounge completely redecorated and although our trusty samsung 50″ plasma was rocking along fine, it had two distinct “issues” if you could call them that: the first is cost of running. A plasma screen is just expensive in the scheme of things compared to led. The second being that even though we made the move to sky q and the ability therefore to have 4k, the tv wasn’t capable, being 1080p. So after reading various reviews etc, we opted for the hisense. On delivery, my wife was a tad concerned due to the sheer size of the box, but there’s a a fair amount of (good) packaging. Once installed, apart from the size, one other thing jumps out at you compared to the samsung – the screen, although slightly reflective, isn’t anything like as bad as the samsung and in our room with four windows, it’s much, much better. The setup was easy and quick and one thing i really liked was the fact that, as we don’t have a terrerstrial aerial attached, the tv didn’t make us waste time searching for channels – it went straight into the network setup. I do like having the netflix and amazon buttons and i am going to try to wean the wife and kids slowly away from sky, simply due to the costs of it. Two things have made me give this four stars rather than five. Firstly, the mains lead supplied isn’t really long enough.
I have ordered this tv for my man cave. It has excellent picture quality and super sound. Built in netflix and utube and remote button that takes you straight to them is an excellent way to navigate the remote compared with other tv brands.
Beautiful tv, has everything i would ever need (including hdr). It’s just a shame none of my devices can actually run at 4k60 (the best my pc can muster is 4k30 🙁 )location of the ports is very accessible (looking at you samsung with your ports on the back, making wall mounting annoying), speakers are good, and the spdif out is a very nice addition, which is what i use to connect my surround system. I’m having some sound delay issues with it on my dvr but i think that’s more a problem with the box than anything else.
We bought this tv to replace an older plasma one we had and i was a bit suspicious about the name having not heard of hisense before. However, the tv is absolutely superb – very easy to set up and the picture/sound is fantastic. Really impressed with the tv for the money and i think it’s easily as good as others much more expensive.
After reading limited pro reviews out there including a which?. One giving it 56% i was a little wary of buying the hisense 43n5700, but decided to take a punt. I’m happy i did as doing a bit of tinkering, taking auto modes off and upping the backlighting, gives a picture i’m happy with and a good sound at low volume. The apps cover all main uk channels and there’s future proofing with the addition of freeview play which gives ability to catch up on 7 days programming from the tv guide menu. It’s day one but i’ve tested a few hd channels, a couple of blu rays and movies on amazon prime and netflix, and all looks and works great without any hiccups. As someone who is pretty tech savvy i can recommend this without hesitation.
Great tv very pleased with it very fast on line.
Great t v really pleased with this purchase.
Very good value for money but you can tell this product was made with lower standards.
Excellent pictures quality, fits my needs.
A huge upgrade from our previous cello branded model that was playing up after only five years of use. I can only compare it with other budget models i have owned so you will have to take that into account when i say the picture, sound, and features are better than anticipated for the money spent. The remote control is really nice too and the quick link buttons to amazon and netflix etc. I have dropped it a star due to the stand that it comes with as it is hard to fit and limits what kind of stand or unit you can put it on top off. Our tv cabinet has literally an inch to spare at either side and having the legs so close to the edge can leave you a bit anxious. A central stand with at least some swivel room would have been much better and we dislike the existing stand so much we have chosen to buy a separate vesa mount stand for ours.
