4 stars is for the television because i thought the picture would be wow compared to my 6 year old television but on standard definition it’s just ok. But i must give 10 stars to tvsandmore i had a small issue, but they bent over backwards to help me, excellent service and i highly recommend them.
Exceptional smart tv, but not perfect in every way. This is a great tv, with some caveats. I’m very happy with it overall, but there are a couple of niggles that keep it from being 5*. Good points:- excellent viewing angles, the picture looks good from even quite awkward angles. – great tv picture, with sd television upscaling that’s the best i’ve seen. – outstanding webos smart tv software, that’s easier to use and much more attractive than any other smart tv platform. – bright and clear 3d picture, which i didn’t expect to use but ended up loving. – pretty good sound, so if you’re not too fussy you may not need a sound bar. – generally sensible interface choices that mean most tasks take fewer button presses than on many comparable tvs. – interface is very responsive (most of the time.
Excellent product really easy set up great picture great price. Excellent product really easy set up great picture great price an lg sound bar is a product worth purchasing to compliment this tv.
Good tv but loads of issues , dirty screen effect , picture tearing etc. Again another item i bought elsewhere as it was cheaper, i bought the 50 inch versionit’s a good tv , but has loads of issues1. As with most led lcd tv’s is the dirty screen effect , do a google search on this , but basically when panning on a screen full of same colourlooks like the screen is dirty , there is no fix for this and is very common on lower end led lcd tv’s , this tv being lower end. Mine was not to bad , seen a lot worse , but still there2 picture tearing when fast moving objects moving left to right or right to left3 not very smooth frame rate when anything moving fast on screen , seems a sync issue , was noticeable on all inputs4 ps3 did not far well when games panned left or right , picture tearing again very badlyplease note the tv was not faulty just the way this tv is , there is ways to help some of the tearing using some of the picture menu’sbut did not get rid of it allon the good side , when watching blu ray the picture was stunning , but still with some of the above issues , but tearing not so badhd on sky was ok but no ware as good as blu ray3d was very good , but pop out was not as good as it could have beenso with all this in mind and getting the tv cheaper ile give it 3 out of 5 , think its back to another make next time.

LG 42LF652V Smart 42 Inch TV with webOS
Still early days as only switched on 2 days ago.
Awesome tv with splendid color & visuals. Though the service from amazon had its hiccups like delivering a faulty returned tv as a new tv to me. They replaced it immediately but had to go through lots of calls back & forth for the episode. Anyways coming to the lg set; its awesome. The picture clarity, sound, 3d, usability, apps, webos, design, everything is just awesome. It features freeview hd & is a breeze setting it with the friendly birdie animated assistant.
Decent size screen at long last. Oh yes, 42″ of decent viewing area at long last. Just wish lg had shipped a ‘magic remote’ with this tv. That has made a significant difference to using the tv. I’m not technical enough to explain how good the picture is or how brilliant the whites are and how dark the blacks are. So let’s say we’re loving the size of the screen and the fact that my wife (“how on earth is that going to fit in our living room?”) actually loves viewing this tv. Going to get a canton dm55 sound base for this tv next, but need to spend a bit longer explaining to mrshw why that is so necessary. She reckons the tv sounds good enough already.
