Samsung UE55KS7500 55 Inch Curved SUHD 4K Ultra HD HDR Quantum Dot Smart TV – Colour breaks up on darker scenes

The tv its ok , but it missing the 4 bolts which help you to mount it on the wall, i just wach some review and 4 bolts and 4 plastic distancer are included in the package. I got the plastic one but it’s missing 4 metallic bolts which are to mount the tv on the wall.

Although not 3d, the picture quality makes it look like the characters are in the room with you.

Speedy delivery, well packaged , good apps and fantastic picture, very pleased with purchase. Here are the specifications for the Samsung UE55KS7500 55 Inch Curved SUHD 4K Ultra HD HDR Quantum Dot Smart TV:

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Colour breaks up on darker scenes
  • You get what you pay for
  • Fortunately the TV itself was unscathed and works beautifully

Packaging had two big holes which the courier (purposefully or not) positioned hidden from the receptionist at my work. They were at the back of the tv but looked worrying. Fortunately the tv itself was unscathed and works beautifully. The apps are very easy to use and the setup process took less than 15 minutes. The image quality is very good, however the monitor struggles with displaying lower definition content. 4k content looks gorgeous and image is miles better for gaming than my previous 1080 display. I’ve only had the product for a few days but i’m very happy with it.

55′ tv is generally great, however when a darker scenes are viewed, the colour splits into chunks of black hues and is very broken up. I had ignored a review that stated the same thing. So be aware of this flaw as it does spoil the viewing sometimes.

Although this is the entry level model for the ultra hd it is a top quality tv. It is very thin and also very simple to use. It has all the following built in smart services;- 4k online content: netflix 4k, youtube 4k, amazon instant video- catch up tv: bbc iplayer, itv player, all 4, my5- app store: samsung app store- custom homepage- full internet browser- social media: facebook, twitterthis is pretty normal these days for the content but the simplicity of the tv sets it aside from most others. As much as it may sound a cliche this really is like a sheet of glass. The black is very black and the picture quality is outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this tv to anyone.

  1. 1.0 out of 5 stars Delivered with a fault
. When trying to switch on showed that there was a major fault and would not work past the fault screen. I am in the process of returning the tv not what i expected for something costing £899. Plus all the aggravation of returning something of this size. I contacted samsung customer service and also amazon i was informed this was a major fault and that the tv was not fit for purpose and should be returned as defective.

      1. 1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible Terrible picture
Everything looks good at first, you get wowed by the demo footage and buy the tv. Then, when you actually watch some tv you notice it all looks terrible. Horrid colour banding and apparent low colour depth. Suhd quantum dot and all that. Lets use the built in netflix or amazon. Any image that has large flat colour surfaces show it well. It’s like genuine 256 colour vga all over again. Especially annoying in dark scenes where shadows become a collection of various shades of lego block. Even when using 4k hdr sources such as the new xbox one s you get the same problem. It was so bad i took the tv back and got it replaced thinking it was faulty, nope. The second one does the same. I went to a couple shops and knowing what the problem was checked all their tv and they all did it. Not sure if it’s the hardware of firmware but samsung really screwed the pooch on this set (and other models of curved screen i checked). If you care about picture quality and don’t like thinking you are watching a 1990’s pirate vdc all the time i would avoid like the plague.
