Sony KDL55W755CBU, Great 1080p

All spherical, unbelievably good tv. Just bought this tv from argos (£30 much more costly at £679. ninety nine, but i wanted it there and then, so paid the excess)i have bought to say, it is by much and absent the greatest tv i have ever owned. I’ve owned a number of massive screened full hd tv’s about the previous few decades, and none of them have occur close to thisthe image high-quality is amazing, in freeview hd and also in the crafted in netflix/youtube application (not attempted a bluray still) some of the crispiest hd i have seen.I have no plan how it seems as i use a wireless set of earphones, but from what i have read through, it sounds really superior. The set up was not as poor as some have suggested, only draw back was how long the set up of the first update took, i was not timing, but by my reckoning it was close to 20-twenty five minutes just for it to install. It sits on the setting up display screen not genuinely carrying out nearly anything, so i was beginning to question if it experienced crashed, but do not unplug it, its surely operating absent in the qualifications, just be patientthe program/ui encounter is quite pleasent, and also significantly a lot quicker than tv’s i have had in the previous. I was actually astonished by this, as i experienced develop into so utilized to laggy/gradual tv ui’s that i just assumed which is how they all were. Not this oneno problems from me about the distant. It is a little bit plasticy, but the addition of the focused netflix button is genius.

It was a hard time selecting if i need to improve my forty inch sony liquid crystal display tv. Amazon experienced a lightning deal on so i resolved to consider the plunge. I did consider twice about having a hd rather than a 4k or curved tv. I ruled 4k out as i be expecting you require to continue to genuinely shut to anything at all much less than sixty inch to appreciate the photo. Curved was dominated out as we view the tv from additional than one seat. Following acquiring the tv for a couple times, i’m seriously amazed with it. I acquired a sony soundboard a 7 days prior to and they work truly very good collectively. I am happy i upgraded from the previous set.

Terrific seems to be but most certainly not smart. . I’ve had the 50′ version of this tv for a week now. I will begin with its good factors. Initially off, the tv’s image is especially extraordinary. Crisp, very clear shots with deep blacks and a selection of picture modes to pick from like soccer. When enabled, i located there was still some movement blur but it’s almost nothing which i would look at to be off-placing. For sound i observed the speakers to be extra than sufficient and have decided to market on the free soundbar which came packaged with the established. Build high-quality is outstanding and it seems to be exceptionally elegant. It comes with each aerial and satellite tuners i wasn’t anticipating the satellite tuner so i was satisfied with that. The tv was easy to established up and took about 40 minutes to down load and put in the hottest program updates.

I snapped this up in the lightning offers a number of weeks back again and now i have my really possess fifty five inch hd smart tvi’ve got my netflix and amazon primary set up and really have no use for ordinary tv i.

Excellent picture, not so smart although. Limited and sweet variation, the photo quality is terrific, android tv significantly less so. I have been looking at the new sony sets for a though and was torn amongst purchasing a new edition sony device or continue to be risk-free with the older designs. In the close i made the decision to jump and invest in the most current model. The picture quality is fantastic at this rate, while as other critiques have presently pointed out the remote is extremely low-cost experience when compared to other sony fobs i have used. Android having said that is disappointing, its community function is flaky and at periods gradual. I despise obtaining to reboot my telly simply because the computer software has crashed and no extended lets me to adjust input yet again. I have used the latest model of the computer software but for the instant that can make it no superior. Streaming films from my synology box is strike and pass up because for the second it is not always ‘visible’ in the movies app.

Sony KDL-55W755C Smart 55-inch Full HD TV (Android TV, X-Reality Pro, Motionflow XR 800 Hz, One Click Entertainment, Wi-Fi and NFC), 2015 Model : Nice tv, beautiful display, only issue i’ve experienced is that on occasions the tv doesn’t register the hdmi port. I have a bluray and xbox connected to it and sometimes it doesn’t pick up the signal and you have to pull the power out of the tv and reset it. Also it can glitch when you try to look at the guide and takes 20+ seconds to load but if you have satellite you wouldn’t experience this problem.

I bought this during a recent daily deal for £650. Model reviewed kdl-55w755cit’s a good television, with a great 1080p picture and a nice brightness. The viewing angles are good, but i’ve noticed a bit of backlight bleed around the edges when the screen should be black. I don’t think 4k is worth it for me, based on the content available and my distance from the screen. The screen has a good response time for gaming, i’ve not noticed any lag or seen any ghosting. It’s miles better than my 2012 sony tv that was impossible to play on. The tv has a decent range of connections on the back, including 4x hmdi in, mhl and optical audio out, plus some others i don’t use. The main flaw so far seems to be android tv. It’s slow, there aren’t many apps available and the interface is clunky.

Have up-sized from a sony 32 inch to 43 inch, i got a warehouse deal one, also got my previous sony as a warehouse deal, both in excellent condition with the latter still going strong. Has taken a couple of weeks to get the screen calibrated to my liking, the screen is just slightly more reflective than my w653a, which leaned towards a matte finish. Hooked up the logitech k810 bluetooth keyboard and pairing was straightforward, bought the one-flick remote rmf-tx100e, you will either love it or hate it, and on reflection i feel the supplied remote is more than adequate, if you do not want to pay the extra. Overall i am pleased to-date with its performance and hope the future updates will not impair this, good choice if your not interested in jumping on the 4k band wagon, just yet.

It was a tough time deciding if i should upgrade my 40 inch sony lcd tv. Amazon had a lightning deal on so i decided to take the plunge. I did think twice about getting a hd rather than a 4k or curved tv. I ruled 4k out as i expect you need to still really close to anything less than 60 inch to appreciate the picture. Curved was ruled out as we view the tv from more than one seat. After having the tv for a few days, i’m really impressed with it. I bought a sony soundboard a week before and they work really good together. I’m glad i upgraded from the previous set.

All round, incredibly good tv. Just bought this tv from argos (£30 more expensive at £679. 99, but i wanted it there and then, so paid the extra)i’ve got to say, it is by far and away the best tv i’ve ever owned. Great picture, great interface, great build quality. . I spent weeks reading reviews, watching reviews, reading forums, walking in and out of stores to look at models i had seen before finally biting the bullet and buying this. It was the one tv that i kept coming back to, and i am extremely pleased with the decision. Picture quality, the sharpness of the image is great. The colour reproduction is great. The detail in blacks is great. It’s been a massive step up from my old 2010 samsung, which i had previously thought represented a good quality picture. The border is impossibly thin, and the whole thing has a monolithic appearance, the brushed metal frame really gives it a premium look and feel. If you told me this was an apple product, i would believe you. The unit is also incredibly thin.

It might sound like i am complaining, because i actually am. I bought tv and got free soundbar with it, soundbar was delivered right on time, nothing unusual, but tv was delivered by yodel. Long story short, they failed to delivered this tv for 9 consecutive days, so i was forced to head to their depot and collect it myself. Basically, just heads up that you might experience not the best delivery service. First of all, i do not see a reason to buy 4k tv. Surely the pixel density is great, but that is extra £200-300 for the feature that lacks content at the moment, therefore, full hd is perfectly fine for me. There is a version of the tv with 3d feature, but again, i’m not a fan of it, so didn’t want to pay extra £ for that. The installation process is super-easy. You just need a screwdriver for the stand and you are good to go.

Great potential but poor execution. Okay so this tv is not too bad at all but as an early adopter sony really dropped the ball; quite a few crashes and painfully slow updates plagued me for the first few weeks of ownership. The picture is great, better than a lot of other tvs on the market right now. I feel like the android capabilities aren’t really worth mentioning, you get a few apps and things that make the device seem “smart” but doesn’t exactly execute them with major success. Unfortunately i’ve had more negatives with this tv than positives, firstly, the stand that came with mine is faulty. I say “is” faulty still because since having the tv at launch (a couple of months now) sony’s infamous customer service hasn’t bothered to help me correct it; my tv leans dangerously forward and i’ve had to make a temporary fix to prevent it from falling on the floor. The most help they’ve offered was some instructions on how to screw the stand into the device correctly (which i have done) you’d think that they’d at least send me a replacement stand (which i have suggested but have not had a response). I’ve also noticed that on my device the sound is a bit crackly (i’m starting to think that my model is just plain broken) which i have again mentioned to sony’s customer service and they never even bothered to reply. All in all, this could be a fantastic tv if sony put a little extra care into it.

A very good unit (you can tell a lot of effort has been put on it). The picture quality is really good, certainly due to the 800hz motion rate, x-pro reality and all that. It is a very thin tv and i was quite impressed. The os is very very very fast. Very fast response to any command, and really smooth. Smart functions & features: the tv is really smart and offer many useful features such as making suggestions based on what you usually watch. The users interface: smooth , beautiful to the eye. Built in freeview and satellite (astra 28. 2 e) tuner : very impressive. More than 500 hundred channels hd and non hdcons:1. The design: the fact that all connection are based at the bottom of the unit ruins it all.Come on sony, all the cable are visible at the bottom of the unit and it is not net at all. If like samsung, all the slots should have been placed on the side of the units to keep all the cables behind the scene. I knew before buying it that there would be some issues here and there. (i am not a fan of google play to be honest. Some don’t even work properly on tablets and phones. Imagine what it would be with the sony tv, vevo and aol on don’t work. And this has turned me down. Those particular aps work very well on samsung smart tvs. User interface is complicated to use. You will need some time to get the hang of it. Even the remote is complicated to use (compared for example to the samsung smart tvs remotes) the big fat netflix button in the middle of the remote is not necessary at all in my opinion 🙂 🙂 🙂 why not a amazon prime button, or a youtube button or a vevo 🙂 🙂 :)4. You must sign using you google account. Doesn’t come with the one flick remote. You need to buy it separatly.

Amazing picture and sound this is really a super tv. Amazing picture and sound this is really a super tv and when used in conjunction with the soundbar the sound is massively impressive , i play my pc ( streaming ) and my dvd player and also my talktalk catch up tv thru the the new tv and all are much improved with the technology in the new set. Live sports are superb when using the football enhancing button on the remote , its the clearest sharpest picture ive ever seen. And as an avid youtube watcher the service is really most impressive ,i honestly cannot fault this outstanding tv and with much more to come thru regular updates and upgrades coming soon it can only get better and smarter well done sony .

Great picture, not so smart though. Short and sweet version, the picture quality is great, android tv less so. I have been watching the new sony sets for a while and was torn between ordering a new version sony device or stay safe with the older models. In the end i decided to jump and buy the latest model. The picture quality is great at this price, though as other reviews have already noted the remote is very cheap feeling compared to other sony remotes i have used. Android however is disappointing, its network function is flaky and at times slow. I hate having to reboot my telly because the software has crashed and no longer allows me to change input again. I have applied the latest version of the software but for the moment that makes it no better. Streaming films from my synology box is hit and miss because for the moment it is not always ‘visible’ in the videos app.

Great looks but most definitely not smart. . I’ve had the 50″ version of this tv for a week now. I’ll start with its good points. First off, the tv’s picture is particularly impressive. Crisp, clear pictures with deep blacks and a choice of picture modes to choose from including football. When enabled, i found there was still some motion blur but it’s nothing which i would consider to be off-putting. For sound i found the speakers to be more than adequate and have decided to sell on the free soundbar which came packaged with the set. Build quality is superb and it looks exceptionally classy. It comes with both aerial and satellite tuners; i wasn’t expecting the satellite tuner so i was happy with that. The tv was easy to set up and took about 40 minutes to download and install the latest software updates.

A super tv all round that will be even better when youview is loaded in the summer. However, it loses a star because of all the time i wasted trying to add the usb hdd to eventually be told by support that the software uograde to enable this is not due until sometime in the summer. Pity they didn’t include a note in the box as they did with the youview. After some research, i discovered that you can run iplayer through the google cast option.
