Toshiba 37RV635DB, Fabulous SD Picture – Very Satisfied with this

I requested this tv just soon after xmas to defeat vat maximize & i can truthfully say i would gladly have compensated the additional 2. five% as this tv is far more than value it. I have none of the afore mentioned difficulties with freeview as some have noted. The resolution+ is a fantastic element even normal def freeview is clearer. For those who stress about these points it is incredibly effortless to set up. A bonus on this set is that it has a suitable off swap & not just standby which will you should the eco-mentalists amongst you.

Wow is my initially phrase for this overview, i obtained to say that i was a bit not sure if i had produced the suitable decision on this tv as i have been a samsung fan for quite a few yrs (perfectly. 6yrs to be precise)when i got this tv these days (thats one day following ordering) i was surprised at how light-weight and lovely it seemed. I managed to perform out the stand and then received it established-up and tuned in, this took around 10mins overall time and was easy. To start with detail i noticed was the image on the freeview, its alot superior than my 32′ samsung hd prepared tv that i have had for just below 2years now. The picture appears crisper and brighter than i have experienced to deal with just before. Then i clicked the information button, some of you may perhaps not feel this is a characteristic truly worth writing about but i have to disagree that some inbuilt freeview guides are garbage. This tv has a awesome manual that will take up all the display and demonstrates you on a right timeline when and what is on. After i booted up my ps3 and changed the placing from 1080i to 1080p i was surprised at how crisp the text appeared, then i viewed the opening scene from the dark knight and was in adore with the apparent photograph. I have only experienced the tv a working day but currently all my fears have been set to one facet, its a good tv and for this price i would advocate it.

Toshiba Regza 37RV635D 37-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD TV with Freeview

  • Full HD Ready 1080p TV with 37-inch screen and Freeview
  • Active vision II
  • Dynamic contrast up to 50,000:1
  • 4 x HDMI™
  • Specially-designed LCD panel – reduces energy consumption

Experienced this tv for four months now and i have to say what a bargian it was. Unpacked and ready to observe in beneath 10 minutes. Picture excellent is good and the developed in freeview channel manual is spot on. Hooked it upto a ps3 with hdmi cables and the games, blueray and normal dvds glance extraordinary. If you happen to be wondering about shopping for a single.

Just thought i would submit a rapid assessment as i often depend on purchaser critiques when creating a buy. V is fantastic price for money as i compensated only £385 when i took out a credit rating card. I can truthfully say i assume it is far better than the 1080p samsung tv i acquired a yr in the past for £600 as the upscaling by the toshiba resolution additionally is incredibly pretty great. Pictures and colors are extremely crisp and clear with the sound remaining satisfactory (which is to be anticipated with all flat panel t. V menu/tutorial as it scrolls whats showing next and reveals how a great deal viewing time is left for the method you are watching. The only downside i can imagine of is that the remote is quite low-cost searching but on the additionally facet is is obviously laid and purposeful.

Good virgin cable configurations. The large box came this early morning (on my birthday) and it was a doddle to established up. This was to change a 28′ crt tv. I plugged in the dvd scart and the vigin cable scart turned on the mains and just before i had got to the entrance of the tv, it was all set up. I will never use the freeview as i have virgin and my ariel is historical. As regards virgin (it may perhaps help anyone) you may well wish to check your configurations via the virgin distant. Mine was set as four:3 as i experienced a crt sq. telly but adjusted this environment to widescreen which promptly enhanced the picture. This suggests that the signal you get from virgin is widescreen and then the telly won’t be trying to squeeze a square image into widescreen or show a sq. image on your new widescreen telly. I have a virgin v (not v+) electronic box. I am exceptionally content with my order.

Toshiba Regza 37RV635D 37-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD TV with Freeview : An excellent buy for the money. Physical set up was easy – done on my own as my dad is disabled and had no problems even though instructions say it’s a two person job. Setup for viewing was even easier – self scan of both digital and analogue signals worked no problem and relatively quickly compared to other tv’s i’ve had. The recent digital re-tune was no problem either. Took just a few seconds to locate the option to re-tune the digital signal only and it worked just as well as the original set up. The main buttons on the remote control are of a good size so easier for my dad to operate even though his dexterity isn’t great due to his disability although a couple of buttons like the tv guide and info buttons are a little small. It must be noted that no hd signal is currently being used in this setup but the picture quality is excellent in standard def. With non of the colour blocking in the picture i’ve seen on similar priced tv’s. I think my dad’s hearing is going as he always has the sound rather high but this just shows the quality of the sound with no distortion at high volume even during high bass music.

Still going strong after 4 years. I brought this in 2009 and it’s been great for me. The picture for both sd and hd channels is really good and as far as i can tell it’s as good now as when i brought it. I’ve used it with sky hd, a ps3 and external audio so i haven’t made much use of the remote or speakers, but the screen has had lot and lots of use and continues to work flawlessly.

Really pleased with this tv. At 37″ i was anxious it may be too large for my lounge however, it is just fine. The set has great picture quality and i cannot fault it. I was extremely pleased with the customer service received during the process of purchase – amazon are great.

Does the job but not overly impressed. We have this tv in the lounge and it certainly does the job. However, the sound leaves a lot to be desired as the speakers are not good enough and deeper sounds buzz, certainly not something i would expect for a tv of this caliber. The epg is fantastic, if a little slow at times. One thing that i am really annoyed about however is that this tv does not have recording capability. All information that i read before buying this model referred to it having ‘recording capability’. It’s only now, approximately 1 year after buying it and thinking that i had done something wrong, do i discover that you need a separate dtv recorder which can be set from the epg but that dtv can not be directly recorded to a hard-drive within the tv. This was one of the main selling points for me and i feel that customers are being grossly misinformed.

Toshiba regza 37rv635d 37-inch widescreen full hd. This is a no nonsense tv, easy to install and set up. I read reviews about background noise, poor picture and lights on the front of the tv, i had none of these problems, of course i read the instructions first. The full instructions are available online. I would have prefered them to come with the tv but the leaflet is enough for what is needed. The only fault i have with the tv is that it does not get hd freeview. All in all a decent product and one i would recommend. The delivery was on time and the discription excellent.

Bought this tv almost a year ago. I’ve noticed some reviewers comment on sound quality – for me the sound is fine at the levels i want to use it at. Only down side is that the integrated freeview does not work so well. On many channels it says there is poor signal. This doesn’t matter for me as i have a separate freeview box with my dvd player so i use this most of the time and have no signal problems. If you did want to use this tv’s integrated freeview however you may be disappointed. Overall i’m very pleased with this tv.

Good but faulty off off switch. Had this tv for over a yr now & was very happy with it up until it developed a problem. Refused to buy the warranty & was purchased off dixons. 13 mths later the on-off switch went. After numerous phone calls to dixons wasting my time i went to the manufacturers. A couple of phone calls later they agreed to do something after advising i was sure it was just a faulty on/off switch (didn’t leave it in standby mode). They finally called to say an engineer would come out. The engineer replaced the switch in 5 mins & said it was a known fault on this tv & replaced it with a more robust on/off switch. If this happens to you, don’t take no for an answer.
