Super quick delivery, as per the other reviews somewhat tricky to install as the cabling travels through the fixing point. I did not want the cabling showing inside the kitchen cabinet so i made a false shelve with spacers under the kitchen cabinet creating a void and used a hole cutter to traffic the cabling through which hid the cables. The false shelve is hidden behind the decor plinth, you will get a magnetic strip with the tv this is screwed up on the cabinet shelve (use the small screws supplied to maximise the magnetic grip) in my case false shelve so when the tv is folded under the back of the tv is grabbed by the magnetic strip to hold the tv in the folded away position. Great picture, sounds okay, good buy.
Delivery was fast and we are delighted with the product. It is very useful for my wife to continue her chores in the kitchen without missing a programme.
Excellent – did exactly what it said on the tinthough they are all a bit fidley to fit under the cupboard.
Does not stay full folded back.
My wife always complained that she missed her favourite programmes as they were on when i got home from work – and she was in the kitchen preparing dinner. Bought this as a birthday gift and i’m back in her good books. It was easy to fit underneath the kitchen unit and it folds away when not being used. Bought a white one which was same colour as the kitchen units so didn’t notice it at all when it wasn’t on. Good quality picture for a small tv and sensibly it will rotate to the angle that suits you best. It also receives all the freeview channels as well as the usual tv programmes and if you want to record or pause/rewind something all you need is one of those little usb-type memory sticks plugged into it – no dvd’s to be bought.
Good tv only problem remote not upto todays standard i. E buttons abit stiff and no instructions on fitting kit??.
- Great TV somewhat tricky to install but worthwhile
- Smart appearance and easy to site
- Glossy finish and sharp picture – but tinny sound
In piano black with neon controls, looks impressive enough. I was disappointed to find that this flip down tv does not completely flip up to the horizontal, it just pushes back out of the way around 30 degrees from horizontal. Sound quality is extremely poor (high treble, no bass) and what you might expect from a caravan tv. Therefore i searched for the audio out socket to fix some speakers and there wasn’t one, no headphone socket, nothing. There’s video in and audio in connections but no audio out socket or connection that i can find. Certainly looks nice, the picture is perfect, so if you can put up with very poor sound quality, then buy.
This is a very good looking product and has a great picture. The instruction booklet needs more detail about fitting up the tv to shelving etc and the sound quality is very tinny. I am a competent diy electrician and handyman but it took me ages to get the television tuned in to bbc tv and radio. Having done so i am pleased with performance other than the lack of bass. It flips up easily out of the way and the remote is waterproff and has already proved its value by being dropped into the kitchen sink.
I was impressed when i removed this from the box, but even more impressed when i turned it on and seen the blue-coloured (neon-effect) lights on the front of it. It’s very modern-looking and fits in nicely in my kitchen. It was easy to setup using the built-in auto-tuning feature and it seems to find all the channels first time (took about 10mins to auto-tune). It supports both digital & analogue tv (if you can still even get that?). I was further impressed once i had it up & running as the picture-quality is pretty decent. The fact that you can angle the screen for optimal viewing is also a nice touch. The blue-lit buttons i previously mentioned (along the bottom of the front of the unit) are not your traditional ‘push-in’ buttons either- they’re touch sensitive. Again, a nice modern touch and i guess this is also for safety reasons (so you can touch the buttons with wet hands without shocking yourself or damaging the product). Another big plus is that it comes with a waterproof remote control, which is ideal for a product that will be living in the kitchen. Whilst i never stuck it in a sink-full of water to test out how well it works, it does look like a very well-designed bit of kit & i have every bit of faith that if the wife accidently drops it in the sink (which she no-doubt will at some point), it will survive.
Ok i could have bought cheaper and with more facilities, but it was the most stylish of the offerings and proved easy to install. Clear picture and the sound is better than some reviews led me to expect.
